About the The Autism Partnership Board
The Autism Partnership Board is a group including:
- autistic adults
- unpaid carers of autistic people
- members of their support network
- representatives from statutory and community and voluntary organisations
The Autism Partnership Board will work together to improve the lives of:
- autistic people
- unpaid carers
- members of their support network in Brighton & Hove
The Brighton & Hove Autism Strategy
The Brighton & Hove Adult Autism Strategy is a plan for how we can improve the lives of autistic adults, their unpaid carers and members of their support network, in Brighton & Hove.
The Brighton & Hove Adult Autism Strategy was approved by the Health and Wellbeing Board on the 7 November 2023.
There are 6 workstreams which report to the Autism Partnership Board
The 6 workstreams are:
- Physical health
- Mental health
- Neurodevelopmental assessment and support
- Social care
- Housing
- Relationships, feeling safe and part of the community
Workstream groups are open to autistic adults, people who support them and staff working in these areas. Workstream groups will develop action plans for how to improve the lives of autistic adults without a learning disability.

The Autism Partnership Board meets 4 times a year. We meet at Hove Town Hall or you can also join by Microsoft Teams.
