Action
Luke was supported by the eCargo Bike Accelerator project. Two batteries enable him to cycle to Worthing in the West and Newhaven to the east, without range anxiety.
A rain cover keeps everything dry and on hot days Luke can put up a parasol.
"Having two batteries enables us to travel further afield for events. Fully loaded the bike still manages to scale some of Brighton's more challenging hills though pre-planning routes is required. The rain cover has been helpful and has meant we have been able to use it throughout the year.”

Outcome
Due to Brighton & Hove City Council’s eCargo bike project, Luke is no longer reliant on other people for transportation. The ecargo bike gives his award-winning food business a unique selling point.
“The bike has enabled us to do many pop-ups throughout the year with no need for additional transport. It’s a great talking point with customers at events and allows us to pick-up stock from suppliers which we weren't previously able to do.”
