About TAKEPART

TAKEPART is an award-winning festival celebrating community sport, dance, exercise, and physical activity. This year it’s running from Saturday 21 June until Sunday 6 July.  

This free 2 week festival brings together providers from across the city to showcase local opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to lead healthy and active lifestyles.

It’s an easy way for you to:

  • spend time with friends and family
  • find out what's available in the city

All the events and activities are free to join and there’s something for everyone. Some must be booked in advance and some are aimed at particular groups, ages or abilities, so please check before turning up.
