Balfour Primary School is a local primary school in the Fiveways area of Brighton. They're a mainstream school but cater for a wide range of special educational needs.
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Specialist services and expertise
Balfour Primary cater for children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. All staff supporting SEND pupils have had training, which is ongoing and updated.
This includes work with:
- BHISS - Brighton & Hove Inclusion Support Service
- occupational therapy
- speech and language
- EALTS (English as an Additional Language and Traveller Service)
- counselling service
- outreach for children with Down syndrome and Cerebral Palsy
