To support the delivery of an inclusive curriculum, recent training for teachers has included:
- assessment at P levels
- strategies to support students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- supporting students with Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN)
- effective differentiation
- positive behaviour management strategies.
There is also training provided for Teaching Assistants (TAs) which reflects the department they are in, and the needs of the students in the school. Recently, this has included training from the Autistic Spectrum Condition Support Service (ASCSS) and the Language Support Service (LSS).
