About
St Nicolas is a Church of England school, but we pride ourselves on being a school for the whole community. We aim to create a vibrant learning community based on Christian principles built on the values of love, service and mutual respect.
Our admissions policy includes a commitment to existing families, our immediate neighbourhood and families. Although our admissions criteria include priority for those attending church, nearly 90% of our families are admitted on other criteria.

- BHISS - Brighton & Hove Inclusion Support Service, which includes:

- specialist SEN teachers
- specialist SEN practitioners
- EALTS (English as an Additional Language and Traveller Service)

- Speech and Language
- Counselling
Teaching assistants have training in Speech and Language, attachment difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Dyslexia and Sensory Needs
