About
Sussex Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) offers support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families. We are an NHS service, providing specialist help with mental and emotional health.
Many young people experience difficulties with their mental health, including:
- anxiety
- low mood
- trauma
- emotional intensity
These can affect all aspects of your life, including your education, home life, hobbies, socialising and having fun.
How to get support from us
If you are struggling with your mental health, you may be able to get support through your school from the BHISS Schools Wellbeing service. You can also find useful information to help you manage your mental health on the CAMHS website.
If you need further support, reach out to the Children and Young People's Wellbeing Service. This is the hub for all mental health referrals for young people in Brighton & Hove. They offer a range of options for mental health support, and can refer you for specialist CAMHS support if appropriate.
