What anti-social behaviour is
Anti-social behaviour is behaviour that causes alarm, distress or harassment to you or your family.
This can include:
- shouting and swearing
- violence or threatening violence
- verbal abuse
- intimidation of neighbours
- some criminal activity
Report to the police
If it is not an emergency you can:
- phone 101
- report to Sussex Police online
Report to Brighton & Hove City Council
Report anti-social or hate incident to us using our online form
Report anti-social behaviour or a hate crime that happened in your neighbourhood
If you live in a council home, you can also report the anti-social behaviour or to our housing team.
If you rent your home or own your own home, report anti-social behaviour or hate crime to our Community Safety Team.
If you live in a housing association home, report the hate incident to your housing provider.
The council cannot help with these cases.
