Becoming a registered childminder
As a registered early years provider you can access these courses and book online. Remember that you need to renew your Paediatric First Aid every three years. As we know it is difficult for childminders to attend courses during the day, we have invested in e-learning courses for childminders which can be completed anytime.
Ofsted produces registration requirements for childminders, publications, guidance and advice. The Early Years Inspection Handbook is the guidance on inspecting Early Years Providers. Ofsted must be notified of any significant changes to your setting or registration. EMAS is a team of specialist teachers, teaching assistants, bilingual liaison workers and home school liaison workers who supports children who have English as an additional language.
