Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard
Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard is a charity by and for LGBT people which provides support, connection, and information.
It provides LGBTQ+-specific services including services for:
- domestic abuse
- trans/non-binary social prescribing
- older people
- dementia
- bereavement
- refugees, asylum seekers and migrants
The Switchboard also runs a helpline, details are given below.

If you would like to join a community of other LGBTQIA+ people with experience of the asylum system, you can join us from anywhere in the UK.
We meet:
- online, Tuesdays, 4pm to 5:30pm
- in-person in Brighton, Wednesdays, 2pm to 4pm
We have an accompanying group English class for LGBTQIA+ people.
We can offer help with technology and internet support if you cannot join us online.
