City Downland Estate Plan moves to next stage
Plans to create a City Downland Estate Plan are moving forward with hundreds of residents taking the opportunity to share their views.
Over the past few months, a series of online events and consultations have enabled people from across the city with an interest in the future of our downland to have a say in how it could be managed over the next 100 years.
Creating draft proposals
The next event will see city councillors and officers working with partner organisations, tenants, representatives of local groups and residents to review all the opinions and ideas submitted and create draft proposals.
The all-day ‘carousel’ event – created and facilitated by Planning For Real – will take place on Friday 23 April. Numbers will be limited but the event will be live streamed.
Some places have already been allocated to local groups and partner organisations with an interest in the plan, but if residents would like to take part please email citydownlandestateplan@brighton-hove.gov.uk to request a place.
