New location for mobile vaccination service this weekend
As well as its regular weekend visit to St Peter's Church, this Sunday 9 May the mobile vaccination ambulance will move to a new location in Hove at the top of Brunswick Square on Western Road.
If you’ve been invited to have your vaccination but cannot get to one of the main vaccination centres, you get your jab at the mobile service this weekend. Some drop-in appointments are available on the day, but to be sure of an appointment it is best to book in advance.
Where and when:
- St Peter’s Church car park, York Place, Brighton, BN1 4GU on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 May from 10.30am to 2.30pm
- Brunswick Square (pavement between Western Road and the square), Brighton BN3 1EJ on Sunday 9 May from 10.30am to 2.30pm
Who can book:
- everyone aged over 40
- anyone with a serious long term health issue
- unpaid carers.
How to book: Call 0300 303 8060
When you go to your appointment take one form of ID and your NHS number if you know it (but you can still get your vaccine if you don’t). Also, remember to wear something loose that gives easy access to your upper arm.
If you’ve already booked to have your vaccination somewhere else but would prefer to come to the mobile service, please cancel your other appointment so that someone else can have your slot.
You can also book to get vaccinated at the Brighton Centre or Brighton Racecourse seven days a week online here or by calling 119.
Free transport to your vaccination appointment is also available if you need it. Full details of all the options available are explained on our vaccinations page.
