Bella keeps residents up to date on council achievements

Council leader Bella Sankey has recorded the first in a series of videos keeping residents updated on what’s happening at the council.

Bella will give an end of the month update on some of the key things the council is doing to make the city a great place to live, work, do business and visit.

This month’s round up includes: 

• A new programme of citywide pothole repairs, resurfacing miles of road between now and next Spring
• A successful prosecution again a housing letting agency for harassment
• Celebrating Black History Month with events in our libraries 
• Extended free school meal provision for children not in school settings, and,
• Reopening the Victoria fountain at the Old Steine
