New course prospectus launched for 2023
We have launched our 2023/24 courses guide through the Adult Education Hub.
The initiative, which is entering its third year, has helped over 1000 learners across the city and offers a range of English, maths and digital skills courses.
There are also various pre-employment training courses that will give candidates the knowledge and skills needed to work in a particular sector.
What's on offer
Learners will receive one-to-one encouragement and feedback from highly qualified tutors, career advice, and guidance. The range of courses are developed to support candidates' wellbeing and skills, encouraging them to gain a qualification and give candidates the skills to further their career.
The courses are designed to meet the needs of the community. Delivered part time with daytime and evening options, tutors will provide a supportive environment for attendees to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence across a broad range of subjects.
Sign up now
Most courses are free to Brighton & Hove residents aged 19 and over, but full eligibility is available on the adult education hub website.
Councillor Lucy Helliwell, joint chair of the Children, Families & Schools committee, said: "We're delighted to announce this year's course guide offering a range of courses to help candidates learn new skills.
"Candidates can enrol throughout the year, and new courses are always being added. This is a fantastic initiative and we're working hard with our local communities, stakeholders and enterprise partners to encourage those eligible to sign up."
