TAKEPART at The Level on Saturday
If you’re looking for something to do on Saturday, why not go with friends or family to TAKEPART Festival of Sport and Activity.
Head to The Level between 11am and 5pm to try out free sport, dance, and exercise workshops.
From 12.30pm you can watch performances from some of the fantastic local groups who are taking part.
You can also get advice throughout the day on being active, healthy eating, stopping smoking, water safety and active travel.
Something for everyone
Regular physical activity is vital for good physical, social and emotional health.
With so many options available in the city, including many free activities run by our Healthy Lifestyles team, it can be difficult to choose. TAKEPART will give you the chance to find something you enjoy and can keep up.
All of the TAKEPART events and activities are free to join and there’s something for all ages and abilities.
Instructors are trained and qualified and will help support you to take part safely.
11am to 12noon will be quieter for anyone who might find the rest of the day too loud or overwhelming, and there will also be a dedicated quiet area all day.
BetterPoints offer
Everyone who joins the Move for Change challenge on the BetterPoints app and comes to the event by walking, cycling, wheeling, running or public transport will be entered into a prize draw to win a £20 Brilliant Brighton Gift Card!
More activities throughout the week
If you can’t make it on Saturday, there’s plenty of other free taster sessions across the city until Sunday 25 June.
This includes free tennis taster sessions on our newly renovated courts on 24 and 25 June.
Other activities include: rugby, gymnastics, martial arts, skateboarding, American football, Pétanque, dance, football, cycling, walking and table tennis.
