Results of the Westbourne & Poets’ Corner by-election

Sam Parrott (Labour Party) has been elected as councillor for Westbourne & Poets’ Corner following a by-election on Thursday 1 May 2025. 

The by-election was called following the resignation of Leslie Pumm.

Results

• Gary Farmer, Reform UK – 258 votes
• Keith William Donald Jago – 7 votes
• David Maples, Independent Trade Union and Socialist Candidate – 91 votes
• Georgia Arabella McKinley Fitch, Independents for Direct Democracy – 93 votes
• Tony Meadows, Conservative Party – 129 votes
• Sam Parrott, Labour Party – 894 votes
• Geoff Shanks, Green Party – 685 votes
• Michael Wang, Liberal Democrats – 598 votes 

The turnout in the Westbourne & Poets’ Corner by-election was 36.95%.
