If you're not able to apply online, you can complete and return school application forms by post, or in person.
You can apply for a school place by completing one of the forms below.
You need to download the form, print it, complete the form and return it by post, or in person.
Download the application form to start secondary school in year 7.
Send the completed form to your child's current school by 31 October 2024.
Download the application form to start infant or primary school in reception.
Send the completed form to the school you listed as your first preference by 15 January 2025.
Download the application form to start junior school in year 3.
Send the completed form to your child's current school by 15 January 2025.
Download the application form to start school at any other time during the year.
Send the completed form to: School Admissions Team, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ. You can also hand the form to Customer Services in Hove Town Hall.
If you want to apply for a place at a voluntary aided or free school with a paper form you also need to complete a supplementary information form for that school. Send the completed form to the school.
If you apply after the deadline, return the completed form by post to: School Admissions Team, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ or send a scanned copy by email to schooladmissions@brighton-hove.gov.uk.
