These providers have been quality assured, to help schools and other local authority support services find high-quality services for children and young people.
Providers have gone through a 2-stage quality assurance framework to be listed in this directory:

Schools are strongly advised to request that new providers (and those they currently work with who are not yet listed) apply to the directory, before commissioning the provider.

The providers listed in this Alternative Provision directory underwent an initial quality assurance process when they applied.
Providers are reviewed annually to ensure ongoing compliance with our standards. However, it remains the responsibility of schools to ensure that any provider they choose meets their specific requirements at the time of placement.
We recommend schools conduct their own due diligence to confirm that the service offered by the provider aligns with their current needs and expectations.
Academy21 is the trusted expert in online alternative provision, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Aspire Farm School provides opportunities for students to improve their soft skills by working with and caring for our animals and farmland.
A curriculum offer based around a business model where learning groups will develop and run a small business.
Elite Tutors Sussex provides tailored learning programmes delivered by qualified teachers and experienced tutors.
Lancing Equestrian provides a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where students work alongside peers and staff to care for and manage a working equestrian centre.

Player Ready provides online technology-based learning for children and young people. A demo of the online platform is available at a school’s request.
South Brockwells Farm School is led by a fully qualified teacher where students will work with and care for our animals and farmland to improve their soft skills.
Targeted Provision is a UK-wide Alternative Provision service that matches young people with experienced tutors according to their needs.
