Woodvale Crematorium closure

Due to major maintenance work and refurbishments, Woodvale Crematorium will be closed for all services and cremations from Thursday 15 August until Wednesday 11 September.

During this time, contractors will be on site, so we advise caution when entering the grounds.

Woodvale Lodge will remain open throughout this period. The Garden of Remembrance and the Hall of Memory will still be accessible.

From 11 September the crematorium will be open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until 30 September when we will be back to normal opening hours.

Because the building is Grade 2 listed, this work is necessary. Skilled craftspeople will carry out the work. They are experts in repairing and restoring the stonework in our chapels, both inside and out.

We'll update this message as the work progresses and advise of any changes.
