Activities to test your reactions

The Open University created these simulation videos to test how distracted you are when driving.

  • Are you a focused driver?

As you drive down the road in this video, your friend is going to call you with a shopping list. Pay attention to how many vegetables are mentioned, and make a mental shopping list. When the clip finishes, we’ll ask you some questions.
  • Can you drive and work at the same time?

In this 10 minute interactive activity, you’ll take the role of a wedding planner who receives a call from a pair of clients while on the way to an appointment. You need to drive safely - looking out for hazards - while also making sure you know what your clients need.
