Why we collect your data
We are collecting your data for the purpose of identifying and exploring market expectations regarding partnership models for a commercially viable Strategic Energy Partnership. We have a lawful basis for processing your data under the Public Task provision (Article 6(1)(e) of the UK GDPR). The council is carrying out work in the public interest to support local climate and energy planning, including activity aligned with its duties and commitments under the Climate Change Act 2008 and related local environmental objectives. The data collected will help us identify and explore market expectations regarding partnership models for a commercially viable Strategic Energy Partnership.
Who we share your data with
We will not share your information with any third party unless we are under a legal obligation to do so.
The council operates shared services with Surrey County Council and East Sussex County Council. We may share your information with one of these partners if necessary to provide these services.
How long we hold your data (retention)
We will not keep your data for longer than necessary, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain the data.
Transferring data outside the European Economic Area
We do not transfer your information outside the European Economic Area.
