We're committed to protecting your personal information, and have a responsibility to make sure you know why and how your information is collected in accordance with data protection law.
Why we're collecting your data
We're collecting your data for the purpose of environmental improvement work to be carried out based on the result of the survey and following meetings.
We'll check your data against our existing records to make sure you're eligible to contribute to the works program, which will be agreed following environment improvement meetings.
We'll also use your data to update our existing records that may be incorrect, in the interest of data accuracy.
Our lawful basis for processing data is explicit consent.
Who we'll share your data with
Your survey answers may be shared with other teams in our Housing service, and our Information Technology and Digital service.
How long we'll hold your data
Also known as retention, we'll hold your data for 24 months after you complete the survey.
After 24 months we may need to use this information to complete trend analysis work, but any data used will be made anonymous.
Your information rights
Under GDPR you have certain rights concerning your information.
We aim to resolve all complaints about how we handle personal information. You also have the right to make a complaint about data protection to the Information Commissioner's Office.
