Hourglass is the UK’s only charity focused on the abuse and neglect of older people, we staff a free-to-call helpline. It’s an absolute lifeline for older men, women and their families suffering from the five forms of abuse: physical, psychological, financial, sexual or neglect.

We will be welcoming a new team of Community Responsive Officers to Sussex and its adjoining boroughs. They will lead the way in implementing Hourglass’s aims for England in Sussex by providing tailored and specialist support to older victims of abuse and neglect. They will play a key role in meeting the needs of the vulnerable older population across, East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove.
