Preston Park University of the Third Age (U3A)

A worldwide organisation of self-help, self-managed learning cooperatives for older people no longer in full-time work.

It is about keeping active when no longer in full employment, learning for pleasure or gaining a new skill. There are no exams to be passed or qualifications to be gained, but you will meet new ideas and new people in a friendly, co-operative and informal atmosphere.

Preston Park U3A was formed in November 2007 is one of 5 U3A branches in Brighton & Hove. 

It has over 350 members and more than 50 active interest group subjects and also arranges for hired speakers, social activities and outings.
