We held 2 rounds of full consultation during the planning process. These took place in August 2022 and March 2023.

These consultations were with:

  • the general public
  • all neighbouring residents
  • internal and external statutory consultees

The statutory consultees include:

  • Historic England
  • Theatres Trust
  • National and Local Highways Authorities
  • Sussex Police
  • East Sussex Fire and Rescue
  • key Council departments such as Heritage, Sustainability, Urban Design and Tourism teams
