Project history

The site is part of Development Area DA5 in the City Plan Part 1. DA5 is deemed a suitable area for the provision of additional housing.

The site is owned by the council.

The project was set up in 2023.

Since then we've:

  • appointed architects and a design team
  • consulted the local community
  • permanently re-housed the existing council housing tenants
  • worked up designs and submitted a planning application
