About the Windlesham Close development

As part of the New Homes for Neighbourhoods programme, the council proposes to build a block of up to 15 new council homes on the site of Windlesham House, on the corner of Windlesham Close and Locks Crescent in Portslade.

The development will build much-needed 1 and 2 bedroom council homes, with one home being wheelchair accessible. The surrounding green spaces will also be improved with new planting and trees.

All clearance work has been carried out in accordance with the planning permission for the site. A qualified ecologist is overseeing the activity and is present during the works. They are making sure that ecological requirements and best practice are followed throughout.
