Westdene Library is open for reading, relaxing, conversation, free wi-fi and studying. Libraries also host regular free/low cost activities and events for adults, young people and children.
How to access Westdene Library
If you are 16 or over and you would like to be able to use our community libraries 7 days per week, please take ID with your current address to your nearest library and ask for a Libraries Extra card, which can be used as a library card and a swipe card (with a PIN) to gain entry.
Libraries Extra
A Libraries Extra card will enable you to use many unstaffed libraries during Libraries Extra hours. Jubilee, Hove, Saltdean and Mile Oak libraries don’t run a Libraries Extra service. For more information, please visit Our libraries and their opening times.
Food and drink
