Together Co (previously Brighton & Hove Impetus)

Together Co (previously Brighton & Hove Impetus) is a local charity. We help people who feel lonely or isolated. This might be because of age, disability, or poor mental or physical health.

We offer a range of services, including befriending, volunteering and social prescribing:

Befriending

Everybody should have somebody. We match people with people to create friendships that make life better.

Volunteering

We connect people with opportunities to get involved in their community. We can support you to gain new experience and skills. Or we can take your existing talents and expertise to where they are needed most.

Social prescribing

Social connections are key to our wellbeing. We help people find the people and places they need to be happier and healthier. This might be having someone you can chat to when you need to. Or someone who helps you navigate local services.

How to access this service

Please contact us if you would like to volunteer, or get support from our befriending service. Fill out our online form or give us a call.

If you'd like support from our social prescribing service, please contact your GP practice. You can ask them for a social prescribing referral. Contact us if you have any questions about this service.
