Attending Bright Start Nursery
Find out what you'll need to provide, how to pay your fees, Ofsted information and how to contact Bright Start Nursery.
Deposit
A £200 deposit is required to confirm the space allocated for new starters. This is deducted from the first invoice for nursery fees. This deposit can be waived for families that use funded only sessions. Contact us for further details.
We ask parents to provide nappies, wipes, nappy cream and spare clothes, these are not included in the fees.
Paying nursery fees
Fees are calculated monthly according to the number of sessions in the month. You'll be invoiced in advance payable on the 1st of the month.
Due to a different number of sessions in a month, the fees are likely to vary each month. You will not be charged for the Christmas closure.
Payments are made through the Brighton & Hove City Council website or the Tax Free childcare website.
Bank holidays and other non-attendance
We do not charge for bank holidays. There is no reduction in charges for absence due to holiday, sickness or any other reason.
Ending your place
If you wish to end your place at Bright Start, we require one month's notice in writing to withdraw a child from their place.
