Our staff can also apply for staff apprenticeship opportunities. Apprenticeships range from entry level to degree level qualifications and are a great way to upskill and complete a qualification relevant whilst carrying out your day-to-day job.

What our staff have to say
“Go for it! Its such a great opportunity – it really makes you feel lucky to work for the council that these opportunities are available. I’m not sure other employers are as invested in their employee’s personal development as Brighton & Hove City Council.
It can be quite difficult to ensure that you find enough time to study but my learning provider has been flexible with me understanding that I have a full-time job to do on top of my study."
