Gloucester Place bus lane move

From Monday 17 February, the southbound bus lane in Gloucester Place is being redirected as part of work to complete the Valley Gardens development.

The bus lane is being redirected to travel south along Marlborough Place passed the junction with Church Street to its junction with Grand Parade.

Temporary traffic signals will also be installed at this junction to work with signals already in place in Edward Street to keep traffic moving.

Vehicle users

The right turn towards Church street will continue to be closed.

Pedestrians and cyclists

Please be aware that the changes will mean traffic moving in both directions along Marlborough Place.  Please take care when cycling on and crossing Marlborough Place.
