A better Brighton & Hove for all
This summer, councillors agreed a new vision for a 'better Brighton & Hove for all' in the Council Plan for 2023 to 2027. The plan was approved at the Full Council meeting on Thursday 20 July.
The plan outlines 4 key outcomes:
- A city to be proud of
- A fair and inclusive city
- A heathy city where people thrive
- A responsive council with well-run services
The leader’s surgeries are supporting support outcome 4 by listening to the needs of residents and communities and responding to their feedback.
Responding to residents' needs
Councillor Sankey said: “I’m looking forward to holding my next Leaders Surgery in the Craven Vale community.
“It’s extremely valuable for me and my team to hear directly from residents about their needs and concerns – on both local and national matters.
“By meeting with people face-to-face in their communities, I want to ensure residents get the opportunity to share their ideas for a better Brighton & Hove for all.
“I’d like to thank the Craven Vale Community Association for use of the community centre.
“I look forward to meeting some of you there!”
