A pair of early 1950s petrol pumps, although now without their advert globes. Situated in a mainly residential street, outside a 19th century building which was much altered in the 20th century to allow the ground floor to be used as a petrol garage.

ii. Historic interest as one of the first (if not the first) petrol station in Brighton; the petrol pumps survive as a reminder of this.
