Memorials at Woodvale crematorium

Outdoor dedication in Garden of Remembrance
These memorials can be placed in the Garden of Remembrance and the Children's Memorial Garden.
Indoor dedication in the Hall of Memory
There are 3 types of memorials that can be placed in the Hall of Memory, a quiet place for reflection behind Woodvale's North Chapel.
Planted memorials
You can order spring bulbs to be planted in the grounds without a plaque.

Cemetery and burial ground memorials

Lawn Grave memorials
Granite stone tablets can be placed on lawn graves at Woodvale or Hove cemetery.
Memorial seats and bench plaques
Wooden memorial benches can be placed within the grounds of Woodvale or in any of Brighton & Hove City Council's cemeteries.
Woodland Valley memorials
Find out about memorials you can get in our Woodland Valley natural burial ground.
Authorised memorial masons
Only authorised memorial masons are authorised to work in our cemeteries, and a Memorial Permit application form must be submitted with the owner's signature before any work is carried out.

Memorial jewellery and paperweights

A small amount of cremated remains of a loved one can be crafted into a small memento to keep close to you always.
