The Youth Employment Hub Online supports the work of the Youth Employment Hub. It provides careers advice and support that is easy to access for young adults in Brighton & Hove.
The Youth Employment Hub
The Youth Employment Hub is an exciting new space in the heart of Kemptown village. It's close to shops and local services and easy to reach by public transport.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you consider options, make a plan of action and support you to achieve your goals.
Computers
We have computers, scanners, and printers available to use at the Youth Employment Hub.
How to use the Youth Employment Hub computers
To use the computers, you need to book a computer session.
You will need a library card. If you've already registerd with the library, please bring your card to your computer session. If you haven't registered with a library we can register you and give you a card. You don’t need to bring proof of address.
Our computers have internet access and Microsoft Office. We also have scanners and printers you can use for free. Staff at the Youth Employment Hub are available to help you while you're using our computers.

Youth Employment Hub services
Youth Employability Service
The Youth Employability Service provides information, advice and guidance for young people aged 16 to 19 (and up to 25 years old for people facing additional barriers), living in Brighton & Hove who are not in education, employment, or training.
Department for Work and Pensions youth coaches
DWP Youth Coaches provide support for young people aged 18 to 24 to get into work or education. If you have a Universal Credit claim, you can make an appointment with a Work Coach at the Youth Employment Hub.
About your work coach
When you make a claim for Universal Credit you will usually be given a work coach. They can help you prepare for work, get a job or increase your earnings.
Work coaches also offer support to:
- people leaving care
- ex-offenders
- people under the age of 18
- people with health conditions
Supported Employment Team
The Supported Employment Team provide support for people with autism or learning disabilities to find and sustain work.
Youth Employment Hub events
1 to 1 interview support
Get help with building confidence and improve your interview ability.
1 to 1 with the Youth Employment Hub Co-ordinator
Book in for an hour to speak to the Hub Co-ordinator about employment advice and for an introduction to the Youth Employment Hub.
Art in mind
Well-being drop in session 2pm to 4pm every Monday, drop in and take part in some arts and crafts and the Youth Employment Hub.
Amazing Futures
Career support for young people with additional needs who are thinking of their next steps.
