Consultation with stakeholders

Meetings took place between 2018 and 2019 to examine issues and options with key stakeholders, including:

  • the Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum
  • key landowners
  • household and community representatives

A draft version of the Hove Station Area Supplementary Planning Document was published for public consultation in November 2020.

An online public exhibition and public meetings took place between 15 December 2020 and 7 February 2021. Written responses were considered by the council, following which a report with a final version of the document was agreed by the council’s Tourism, Equalities & Culture Committee on 16 September 2021.

The resulting document is SPD 18 Hove Station Area Supplementary Planning Document. This supplements planning policy in the adopted City Plan parts 1 and 2 and the emerging Hove Station Neighbourhood Plan.
