Our management and structure

Our corporate leadership team is responsible for planning and delivering our services.

Senior officers and directorate management teams

The day-to-day leadership and management of council operations, such as managing council resources and commissioning and providing services, are delegated by councillors to the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT).

The team is formed of 3 Corporate Directors and led by the Chief Executive Officer. Other council officers or partners are invited to attend when needed.

The Director of People and Innovation, Director of Property and Finance (S151) and Director of Governance and Law are also permanent members of CLT.

As a team they work closely with stakeholders to:

  • ensure good corporate governance and performance management
  • develop corporate strategies
  • implement the council’s policies and priorities
