Your Voice – consultations and engagement
Find out how to engage with us on policies, decisions and projects happening in the city.
How to engage with us
Your Voice is our consultation and engagement platform. It gives residents, businesses and visitors their say on the things that matter most to them in the city.
You can take part in surveys, consultations, polls and votes to help create a better Brighton & Hove for all.
You can also sign up to have your say, follow projects you’re interested in and be informed about the different stages and decisions a project may go through.
You to get involved in:
- surveys – asking you questions to better understand your needs and expectations of the council
- polls – gathering feedback from you on specific topics to understand the public’s priorities
- voting – allowing you to vote on specific issues
- online mapping – allowing you and other residents to provide feedback and ideas on a map of the city or neighbourhood
- sharing ideas – you and other members of the community have a space to share ideas
- allocating funding – residents can make suggestions on where specific pots of money are spent in their community

What happens after you've engaged with us
Taking part in engagement projects helps us understand:
- what you think of our services, policies and strategies
- whether and how improvements could be made
- what your priorities and concerns are
Results are fed back in the decision-making process. They’re considered against resource constraints, legislation and competing views.
