Heroes Welcome in Brighton & Hove

The Heroes Welcome scheme offers special discounts to members of the British Armed Forces at selected local businesses and attractions.

About the Heroes Welcome scheme

The national Heroes Welcome scheme aims to provide a special welcome to:

  • people serving in the British armed forces (including reserved forces) if they show their identification card (MOD90)
  • veterans if they show their Veterans’ Badge or ID card

The scheme has been running in Brighton & Hove since 2009 and was relaunched as part of the local Armed Forces Community Covenant.

We aim to increase the range of local businesses that offer discounts, service upgrades or special acknowledgement for current and ex-service personnel living, working in and visiting the city.
