The service is a partnership between:
- Brighton & Hove City Council (Social Services, Education and Housing departments)
- South Downs Health NHS Trust
- Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company
- Sussex Police
- Brighton & Hove City Council Community Safety Team
What the Youth Justice Service does
The Youth Justice Service works with young people aged between 10 and 17, their families and other relevant professionals to offer different types of services, including:
- preventative
- pre-court
- court
- supervision
- custodial
Youth Justice Service
Provides services to young offenders, their families and to victims of youth crime to reduce offending.
