Supporting older people to be healthier and safer in their own homes. The Health and Wellbeing Visits Project arranges for older people to be visited in their own homes by trained volunteers for a conversation about their health, wellbeing and fire safety in order to help them continue to live independently at home. This is a totally free service and is part of the work that East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service undertake around preventing fire and supporting the community.
The ESFRS offers free Home Safety Visits. They can visit you to give a range of advice to help you keep safer in the home and reduce the risk of fire. They can also check and fit smoke alarms as appropriate.
