Whatever your political views, it's important that you register to vote and use your vote in every election.
If you're already registered to vote, you do not need to register again for each election. But you'll need to register again if you move home.
You can stand as a councillor for Brighton & Hove City Council if you meet the requirements.
If you're elected, you'll represent your local community and it will be your job to put forward their views in council meetings.
