Our wonderful gardens are maintained by our Brighthelm Garden Group which has undertaken considerable planting and maintenance work over the past four years, with support from Brighton & Hove Food Partnership.

Brighton & Hove Hockey Club
We are a community club that offers members participation at all levels from social to National League. Currently we have 9 men’s teams, 7 women’s teams covering all ages and skills plus a thriving junior section. We welcome new members of all ages and abilities with the certainty that we have a team that suits them.
If you are new to hockey or new to the area feel free to come along and sample the atmosphere we have some excellent coaches who will help you reach your potential. We also have a thriving social side to the club with events every month and a clubhouse where people gather every weekend.
Brighton Aikikai Aikido Club
Aikido is a modern martial-art that continuously develops natural, harmonious reflexes to prevent or neutralise violence when it confronts or tempts us.
The name itself roughly translates to The Way of Harmonising Energy.
Aikido is not easy. It's a life-long study, and progression takes time and patience even for those with natural ability. Yet it's fascinating, enjoyable, and accessible to anyone.
It also an opportunity to travel. We train at home and abroad. Meeting new people in new places is all part of the experience.
Beginners are welcome! Our classes cater to all levels and your first one is FREE.

We are a friendly Cricket Club based in Patcham.
Brighton and Hove Fencing Club
Welcome to Brighton and Hove fencing club. Activity is Sword Fencing at levels from Beginner to International standard. Members include National and local Champions, European and World finalists within the age ranges from age 12 to Senior Citizens.
The club has both male and female members who use all three weapons (foil, epee and sabre). We also have social events, and club competitions.
Brighton and Hove Golf Club
Brighton & Hove Golf Club, founded in 1887 and 128 years old this year, is the oldest golf club in Sussex and a Links-Downland gem.
Known locally as the Friendly Club, we offer a warm welcome to both visitors and members. Our 9-hole course with 18 different tees offers an interesting and challenging golfing experience for players of all levels.
Due to our location, high upon the Sussex Downs, we have exceptional drainage and the course only closes for snow.
Stunning views across the Downs and further to the city of Brighton & Hove to the sea make for a truly memorable round of golf.

We are a very friendly and active club dedicated to promoting and developing the wonderful game of petanque. We welcome new members of all ages and all levels of experience to enjoy this wonderful sport or to develop their talents to compete at all levels from local to international.

Good for fitness, fun, self defence, learning martial arts and self discipline.
