As soon as you find out that you're pregnant, you should contact you local GP or Family Hub so that you can book a midwife appointment.
Midwifery Services are delivered from Family Hubs, GPs and in the community. The first meeting with the midwife is at 10 weeks. At this appointment your midwife will make a plan for ongoing care throughout your pregnancy.
Your midwife will schedule regular appointments and explain what happens at each of these appointments.

Family Hubs support families in Brighton & Hove with children aged 0 to 19. Young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) can access our services up to age 25. We deliver services from various locations across Brighton & Hove.
