Youth Justice Plan
The plan published by the Youth Offending Service every year.
What the Youth Justice Plan is
The Youth Offending Service (YOS) is required to publish a plan each year.
The YOS is required to publish a plan each year. This includes an Executive Summary which shows how our performance compares with the performance measures that are set nationally by the Youth Justice Board.
The plan contains
- a local profile of youth crime
- our preventive strategy
- our structure
- our budget figures for the year ahead.
It records in detail how we have performed for the previous year, and lists our plans and any obstacles we are facing in achieving the targets that have been set for us during the forthcoming year.
