Allotment maintenance schedule

Find out when will we carry out maintenance on the allotments.

Throughout the year the allotment maintenance team will carry out general maintenance tasks between responding to urgent maintenance requests. Some of these tasks are seasonal and can only be completed within specified months, whilst the others continuously run throughout the year.

  • Water Turn On - takes place in April
  • Water Turn Off - takes place in October
  • Water Seasonal Repairs - run from the April to the end of October
  • Trackway Mowing - runs from March to the end of November
  • Hedge Cutting - runs from January to the end of March
  • Trackway Repairs and Construction Works - run from October to the end of March
  • Allotment Entrances, Rubbish Removal, Large Structure Removals, Fence Repairs and Plot Letting Events - can all run continuously throughout the year
