Public consultation

Between 2017 and 2019 public consultation events took place within the local community. This helped shape the designs.

Prior to the planning application YMCA DownsLink Group invited young people who were living in their accommodation to get involved in the design process. These people's feedback strongly influenced the design for the internal layouts.

Future consultations

Because the consultation took place several years ago, we intend to update the local community and carry out some supplementary consultations once a main contractor is in place.
