Finding the main contractor

In November 2022 the Housing Committee approved the procurement of a main contractor on a design and build basis. A budget to cover the pre-construction phase was also set.

We are working to procure the main contractor. The demolition of the 2 remaining garages on the site marked the official start of the development.

Modern Methods of Construction

The project will be delivered using Modern Methods of Construction, a process which focuses on off-site construction techniques as alternatives to traditional building. At Eastergate Road factory-constructed modules will be brought onto site.
