History of YMCA Downslink and the Eastergate Road site

From 2013 YMCA DownsLink Group had been looking to provide a form of move-on housing for young people in Brighton & Hove and approached us in a search for suitable sites.

This former garage site met both parties requirements and plans were carefully developed. In October 2020 planning permission was granted to build 30 self-contained studio units.

Shortly afterwards YMCA DownsLink decided not to develop the site themselves. We reviewed options for the site, decided that the approved project met our objectives, and took on the role of developer.
